What a happenstance find, my favorite Jun, I haven’t had it in years, and found it expectedly in Colorado. Jun is a fermented tea, originating from China and/or Tibet, where the yeast cultures feed on honey instead of cane sugar. Typically it’s still too sweet for me but this Ling is fizzy, bright, well fermented, and just splendid. This Aphrodisiac blend is with green tea, wild cultures, Damiana, Epimedium, Hibiscus, with raw honey and spring water. This and the Wholly Spirit are my favorite. #jun #happybelly #cultured
One of my favorite things to do while traveling, beyond getting into the land and waters, is to find the apothecary and peruse their local medicines and offerings and leave with some plant allies of this place; then the market for some fresh produce and local raw wild honey, to taste the land and pollen and become woven into the landscape and modern village in some old ways. I just loved finding @rebeccasapothecary in Boulder Co, my little respite on the city. Everything from the incredibly vast selection of quality herbs, to beautiful formulations in glass and refillable vessels, a reading corner of amazing books, alternatives to plastic straws, bags, and bottles, and the sweet energy of Rebecca and her magic shop. I wish everywhere had an apothecary with the people’s medicine, more than any doctors office, they’re so accessible, affordable, magical, inviting, and potent. 🙏🌿🌷✨
